Arches National Park, San Juan County, Utah, USA.   38° 45.483’ N latitude, 109° 37.019’ W longitude, elevation 4495 ft. Gypsiferous outcrop just where road comes out of wash. Date of sampling: 13 May 1999.

Dominant vascular plants in the site: Ephedra torreyana, Bromus tectorum, Opuntia sp.
