for your Web Pages Barbara K. D'Ambrosia and Carl R. Spitznagel |
These pages illustrate techniques for creating mathematical
animations for inclusion on your web pages. Although our motivation was
strictly to have some mathematical fun, some students have accused some of these
animations of being instructive as well! Each of the links below points to a page that contains an animation, accompanied
by the Maple 8 code that was used to create it. The code can be copied
and pasted into your own copy of Maple, if you would like to reproduce
or experiment with the images. Most of the code will work
with earlier releases of Maple, down to Maple V Release 5.
