Faculty Service Committee Meeting

October 18, 2004

Present: K. Gygli, C. Spitznagel, J. Yost, L. Cima, M. Finucane

Absent: B. Bockanic, D. Horwath

Karen Gygli opened the meeting at 4:30 pm. Gygli reported that she has not heard from Ernie DeZolt regarding her memo on the ad hoc committee on electronic voting report. She also reported that the constitution of the search committee for Catholic Studies has not been determined therefore we must wait to gather nominations.

We counted the ballots for the search committee for Director of the Grasselli Library. One hundred forty-nine faculty voted. Brenda Wirkus of Philosophy and Ruth Connell of Grasselli Library were elected to the search committee.

No meeting date was set to reconvene. Gygli will contact committee members when she receives word from Ernie DeZolt or regarding the search committee for Catholic Studies.
