Dr. Weaver came to
John Carroll in 1958 and taught Organic Chemistry,
Spectroscopy, General Chemistry, as well as specialized
graduate courses. Besides his regular duties, Dr. Weaver spent many hours maintaining and improving the analytical instrumentation of the department. He was heavily involved with development and use of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometer and the Mass Spectrometer. Dr. Weaver was a participant in the University's Honors Program, and long time member of the Health Professions Advisory Committee and Academic Counseling Program. He became Professor Emeritus and retired in 2001. Dr. Weaver returned to teach in the department in Fall 2005. He and his wife currently reside in the greater Cleveland area.
