Code Blue

Some info on my old band...

A photo of the rhythm section of my old band, Code Blue. From left: Dr. Dave McGregor (now practicing medicine in Houston, TX), Dr. Jim St. Pierre (still practicing medicine/doing research in St. Louis I think), Dr. Dan Levin (still practicing clinical psychology in St. Louis), Mark Anson, J.D. (a lawyer in St. Louis and 2nd degree black belt - i.e., Don't mess with our bass player!)

More of my old band. From the left is Dave McGregor again, Dr. Mark Overton (recently graduated from Wash. U. with Ph.D. in Cell Biology), and Bob Knapp (Moved to Cleveland to work for Picker, but I think is moving back to St. Louis... he usually plays trumpet.).

And, just in case you didn't think I was actually with them... Here's me with the c. 1993 incarnation of Code Blue doing the First Night gig on New Year's Eve. That naturally brings up the topic of former members. We lost some through the years due to other committments, moving out of town, and other conflicts. The next photo of Brian Skrainka does not necessarily single out his contributions to Code Blue (which were many), but is included more because I actually found a picture of him playing (instead of mugging for the camera)!

Later, we went on to record a CD: Jazz for What Ails You (available from Dave at JCU as well as several locations in St. Louis, and anywhere a band member has relatives...).
