Specific grading criteria for each assignment are the same for undergraduates and graduate students, although a superior quality of work is expected from students taking the course for graduate credit in comparison to undergraduates.

  • 15% APPA (Attendance, Preparation, Participation, and Attentiveness)
  • 15% 1–2 Critical Reviews and an original epistle or gospel selection; with the instructor's approval, a film critique may be substituted for one of these assignments
  • 05% Class presentation of one of your critical reviews (5–7 minutes)
  • 05% Peer review of second draft of another seminar student's paper
  • 05% Oral response (5–7 minutes) to another seminar student's project presentation
