Andrea Smith is the co-founder of Incite! Women of Color Against Violence and the Boarding School Healing Project.  She is the author of Native Americans and the Christian Right: The Gendered Politics of Unlikely Alliances (Duke University Press) and Conquest:  Sexual Violence and American Indian Genocide (South End Press).  She is also the editor of The Revolution Will Not Be Funded: Beyond the Nonprofit Industrial Complex and co-editor of The Color of Violence:  The Incite! Anthology (both South End Press).  She currently teaches in Media and Cultural Studies at University of California-Riverside.
